As a woman advancing in your career in Japan, it’s completely normal to go through intense, overwhelming periodsespecially when your responsibilities grow, your workload explodes, or you take on a new role (not to mention everything outside of work!).

If you’re like many women, you might hesitate to ask for help.

At first, you tell yourself, “I just need to work harder and push through. もっと頑張らないと!”

But deep down, you’re worried about meeting everyone’s expectations.

Your mind feels scattered. It’s hard to focus or make good decisions.

You may feel lost and overwhelmed.

The exhaustion—physical, mental, and emotional—starts to take over. ヘトヘト。もやもや。

And those around you don’t fully understand what you’re going through.

As a working mother with 30+ years of corporate and entrepreneurial experience in Japan—and someone who’s experienced burnout more than once—I get it.

But I’ve learned how to do things differently.

And now, with my team of expert coaches, I’m here to help. 😊

You’re not alone—and change is possible

✓ Finally feeling at ease with your work–life balance

(そして、おまけに英語もレベルアップできます!)

You’ve just read about the kinds of results women achieve through Women’s Success Essentials.

I’ve seen these changes happen again and again—and you’ll see more of their stories below.

But the real question is:
How could this be possible for you, with your unique schedule, situation, and needs?

Introducing
Women’s Success Essentials

Women’s Success Essentials is a transformational 3-month online group program for women in Japan who want to move from feeling stressed and stuck

…to enjoying more clarity, confidence, and calm—even with a demanding schedule.

This isn’t just another professional development program.

It’s uniquely designed for women in Japan and gets unrivaled results because it’s built on the proven Sasuga! Success Cycle—a four-phase approach combining essential mindset techniques, professional skills, and sustainable habits.

The Sasuga! Success Cycle

PHASE 1: Care For You

Embrace selfcare as a success strategy—not just physical, but also mental and emotional—through mindset shifts and everyday habits that boost energy and creativity.

PHASE 2: Create Your Plan
Develop a long-term Vision, set clear program goals, and create a realistic action plan that works even with your full calendar.

PHASE 3: Communicate Your Ideas
Speak up clearly, confidently, and convincingly. Learn how to facilitate efficient meetings and communicate with the presence, clarity, and credibility of a trusted leader.

PHASE 4: Complete Your Tasks
Get the important things done at the right time. Set effective boundaries and apply best-practice productivity techniques—without guilt.

But Women’s Success Essentials goes even deeper.

What makes this methodology truly distinctive is how it helps women recognize and work with their hormonal and physical changes—something rarely addressed in traditional leadership or development programs.

Whether you're menstruating, perimenopausal, menopausal, or simply dealing with energy fluctuations, you’ll learn how to align with your natural rhythms—or skillfully compensate when your work schedule doesn’t allow it.

This is how high-achieving women can perform with greater excellence and ease—without burning out.

Meet your Coaches

You’ll be supported by two expert bilingual women with 45+ years of combined professional experience in Japan—bringing not only proven skills and insight, but also genuine care for your growth and wellbeing.

HELEN IWATA
Women's Success Coach

I’m an award-winning bilingual coach, speaker, author, podcast host, and working mum.

Originally from the UK, I’ve lived and worked in Japan for over 30 years. At McKinsey, I managed three departments and was one of the few certified trainers in Asia coaching high-achieving consultants and clients in leadership and communication.

After founding my own business more than a decade ago, I became passionate about helping women in Japan succeed professionally—without sacrificing their personal lives.

That mission came from my own painful experiences of burnout, and seeing how many talented women around me kept pushing themselves to exhaustion.

It’s natural to want to do excellent work and keep everyone happy, right?

But it’s mottainai(もったいない)if it costs you your health and happiness.

I discovered a better way: combining outstanding professional skills with selfcare as a success strategy.

Now I’d love to share that with you.

HEATHER DOBBIN
The Sustainable Transformation Coach

I’m a globally recognized, ICF-certified coach and educator with over 15 years of experience supporting individuals to unlock their potential and align their actions with their values.

I’ve coached executives, leaders, and managers across corporate and startup environments—both in Japan and internationally—helping them cultivate self-awareness, resilience, and authentic confidence.

My approach blends somatics, cognitive-behavioral techniques, menstrual cycle awareness, and mindfulness-based practices to help clients succeed professionally and thrive personally.

Based in Tokyo, I actively support women’s success through leadership roles in multiple community organizations.

When I’m not coaching, you’ll find me practicing Muay Thai or tending to my many houseplants.

I overcame my uncertainties and struggles

“As a mother and entrepreneur, I had lots of uncertainties and struggles and always wanted to do something about those “weaknesses.” I thought it wasn’t right that I was always swamped with work and I wanted to change the way I was working.

I had a busy schedule and was already working and taking another course. At first, I wasn’t sure about taking another program on top of that. But I’m truly glad that I joined. All the participants were lovely women, and I always felt it was an environment where I could get realizations and motivation. For any women wondering whether to join, definitely take that step!”

Emi

I'm leading a life that I feel happy with

"Another year would go by with me feeling just “ugh” about work and being a mother. I was always tired and constantly sighing. I was overwhelmed with day-to-day tasks and kept putting off the idea of investing in myself. I now carefully choose what’s important for me and am leading a life that I feel happy with."

Akiko

I'm now happy to step out of my comfort zone

"I had been thinking about challenging myself to move to a higher position within my company, but didn't have the confidence and thought I wasn't qualified. However, through the program, I started to realize that this was just my own thinking and was not a fact. I gained confidence and decided to talk with my bosses - and I got a promotion! I'm now happy to step out of my comfort zone."

Maiko

I became confident and can now be more than who I was

"I started having an "essentialism" way of thinking and began to notice when I’m comparing myself with others. When I do, I switch my focus to something more meaningful."

Kanako

This is a turning point
in my life

"I felt the world is big and life is short. Why do I push myself so hard? Because of the first session being “Selfcare” and Helen’s mindset, I realized their importance and was able to change little by little throughout the whole program. I understood that other women were having similar problems even with different types of jobs. And I got a wider viewpoint outside my business  industry. Thank you for everything. I believe this is a turning point in my life"

Keiko

I thought that I didn't have time - but I did!

"It wasn't an easy decision for me to take the program since my schedule was tight. But as I started taking the course and learning the method, I realized that I was managing my time much better than before and wasn't panicking at the thought that I didn't have time!!"

What If You Do Nothing Different?

Stepping into a program like this can feel scary. That’s completely normal.

Your brain is wired to keep you safe—which often means resisting change.

We tend to stay in our “comfort zone,” even when it’s not really comfortable—just familiar.

But let’s pause and ask…

What if you keep doing what you’re doing?

Imagine yourself 3 months from now:

How do you feel about your confidence, your contribution at work, your relationships, your time, energy, health, and happiness?

Probably not great, right?

Now, Let’s Picture Something Different:

Imagine this:

You have a clear vision.

You’re setting priorities and sticking to them.

You’re speaking up with confidence.

You’re protecting your time with healthy boundaries.

You’re finally feeling in control of your day, your career, and your energy.

✨ What if, with the genuine care, expertise, and guidance of your Women’s Success Essentials coaches—and the support of a friendly, like-minded group of women—you became the kind of female leader who shows up with clarity, confidence, and calm—and inspires others just by being herself.

That’s what this program is here for.

You don’t have to figure it all out alone.

We’re here for you.

And if you’re not sure yet—let’s chat.

Let’s talk about what’s possible for you
