Session 2

Easy Dinner Cooking LIVE

In this session, I'll teach you how to cook an easy-to-make meal that will WOW your family/partner. You'll be surprised by how you can create something so gorgeous and delicious in such a short time!

We'll give you an ingredient list in advance and, if you like, you can cook along with me and enjoy this meal for your lunch!

I'll also give you simple tips on how to brighten up your table with an easy flower arrangement.

Kumiko Sugihara

Food and flower designer based in Tokyo.
The concept of my cooking class is to "Take you on an around-the-world trip with amazing food!".
Based on my international background and given that my mother was a cooking teacher, I inherited a variety of recipes from different countries ever since I was a little kid.

Now, I teach multinational cuisines with a modern "Kumiko" twist. Food and flower are the two essentials to welcome your guests, so I also have a flower arrangement class where you can learn how to create simple flower arrangements that will make any occasion special.

Haruko Kawashima

Institute of Women’s Leadership Inc. CEO

As secretary to the mayor, I spent my early career surrounded by important people, including business leaders, ambassadors, and senior government officials from Japan, France, Germany, Russia, the USA, and other countries. Being exposed to how top leaders think, behave, make decisions, and get people involved and motivated, I became convinced that leaders have particular mindsets and skillsets.

To understand the mechanisms of these, I explored cognitive psychology, neuroscience, coaching, and other leadership and people as I switched to a new career as an executive coach and leadership trainer.

Impressed by and having up-close experience of supporting leaders through troubles they never let others see, I advocate a leadership style that realizes personal happiness as well as business results.

I have trained over 10,000 people in Authentic Leadership, which comes from manifesting leadership from one’s true self, and Leadership without Authority, in which leaders influence others through their manner rather than power.

I also focus on nurturing female leaders in Japan and am recognized as a role model who embodies success and fulfillment.

Oh, there is more to it than that, but I don’t want to say too much right now. Just trust, enjoy the experience, and you'll be delighted with the results.
