🌏 The Culture of One ~ Transforming Cross-Cultural Barriers into High-Performance Drivers
Gallup's recent research shows that poor cross-cultural communication costs companies $8.9 trillion globally each year. In today’s globalized world, cross-cultural misunderstandings don’t just affect the bottom line—they affect you. A missed cue or a misinterpreted message can erode trust and disrupt collaboration, and these barriers can drain your energy and impact your effectiveness.
While conventional wisdom suggests that mastering cultural norms is key, it often falls short because our "common sense" isn't so "common" in a culturally diverse environment. Our "common sense" creates a barrier and leads to misunderstandings, miscommunication, and mistrust. But what if, instead of struggling with these cross-cultural barriers, we could transform them into high-performance drivers?
It's time to uncover "The Culture of One" —the unique blend within each individual and transform your team into a high-performance powerhouse. Guided by the timeless Japanese principles that her late father instilled in her - 誠 Sei - 和 Wa - 魂 Kon - in this presentation, Natsuyo merges the precision of these values with the fluidity of ballroom Latin dance, which she passionately practices.
Just as each dance step creates connection, you’ll learn how to lead with intention, communicate effectively, and bring out the best in every team member, no matter where they are from.
Get ready to transcend cultural norms, and transform cross-cultural barriers into high-performance drivers.
We will learn
✨ How cultural diversity impacts your perspectives and the performance of your diverse team
✨ The 3-step process for deeply understanding and being understood both globally and locally
✨ The key mindset to successfully navigate through global business and communicate effectively beyond differences

Our Superstar Speaker
Natsuyo Nobumoto Lipschutz, CSP, MBA
🌍 Cultural Diversity and Cross-Cultural Communication Strategist 🌍
Natsuyo is an international keynote speaker, trainer, facilitator, author, and the first Japanese to receive the elite professional speaker’s designation “CSPⓇ ” in National Speakers Association’s history. She works with global organizations that want to elevate cultural inclusion and have their leaders communicate effectively beyond differences globally and locally.
Japanese native, New Yorker at heart. Natsuyo traveled 7000 miles to start her cross-cultural business career in the US. Faced with a myriad of cultural differences, she quickly learned that what made her successful there, wasn’t going to make her successful here.
Through her dynamic keynote presentations, Natsuyo shares colorful stories behind her cross-cultural communication strategies, and teaches the 3-step process to help you break through cultural and personal barriers, and leverage your differences and elevate cultural harmony in a diverse team.
Our Marvelous Moderator
Helen Iwata, The Less Effort More Impact Coach
Originally from the UK, Helen has lived and worked in Japan for over 30 years.
At McKinsey, Helen managed 3 departments and was one of the few certified trainers in Asia coaching high-achieving consultants and clients in leadership and communication.
After establishing her own business more than a decade ago, Helen became passionate about helping women in Japan to succeed professionally without sacrificing their personal lives.
This came from her own painful experiences of burnout and seeing how other high-performing women suffered from constantly pushing themselves.
It’s natural to want to do excellent work and keep everyone happy, right? But it’s mottainai (a waste) if it costs you your health and happiness
Helen learned a better way: combining outstanding professional skills with selfcare as a success strategy.
And she’d love to share that with you…
